Ambitious hard worker looking to build a career in conservation, environment management and habitat sustainability. Previous 4 years working as an English teacher in China and Poland. Excellent team work and communication skills, very keen to learn.
Having spent the last 4 years living out of the UK (in China and Poland) exploring my interests and developing my work-based skill set, I am very keen to begin developing my career in conservation and the environment.
Living in foreign cultures has equipped me with a number of invaluable skills. I am an exceptionally hard worker, and I am very keen to learn as I work. I am passionate about learning, and I spend much of my free time doing MOOC's in fields relevant to jobs in the conservation and environmental sector. Being a teacher has taught me to be patient and supportive, and I have excellent inter-personal skills that are very important when working with members of the public in a variety of situations. I am an eloquent writer and speaker, as such I am highly capable in writing reports and managing inter-personal situations. This also helps me to be a team player, and I am confident both within a team and as a team leader.
I am invested in developing my career and I am looking for a position in which I can move forward, while supporting and protecting our environment.
I have a wealth of experience with public-facing roles and education.
