I have over 20 years horticultural experience, self employed landscaping, maintenance, project management, consultation and a period as an apprentice assessor. I run all aspects of my business and have been part of teams creating outdoor spaces for care homes, show gardens, sensory gardens and schools. I have good plant knowledge, can organise and carry out projects and am used to dealing with budgets and managing customer expectations. I have an excellent network of trades and good relationships with a long list of suppliers. I am happy to work solo and can prioritise and make decisions, equally I love to work with new people and share ideas. My speciality is in creating planting schemes for a wide range of environments backed up with horticultural qualifications and experience. I have dealt with volunteer groups and community projects locally to me. I am keen to learn new skills and even go in a slightly different direction maybe conservation projects, land management or wildlife issues. I wouldnt say I am expert but I am certainly confident in my abilities and happy to say when I am unsure or dont know.
