Nature Recovery & Sustainable Land Management Specialist
With a wide and varied background, I now offer my own bespoke services to a range of clients who are keen to deliver nature recovery at speed and at scale.
My career to date has been long and varied, but always with an overarching ambition to drive nature's recovery. I've worked in the public, private and charitable sectors, delivering projects efficiently and collaboratively. Since 2015 I have been running my own business; providing expert ecological & land management advice, whilst remaining hands-on in forestry, coppicing and hedgerow management.
Most recently I have been working with West Dorset Wilding on an ambitious natural flood management project whilst, concurrently, finalising the Nature Recovery Plan for the 95,000 ha Cranborne Chase National Landscape.
With my range of experiences in project management, critical report & strategy writing/reviewing, policy advocacy and being firmly embedded within the nature recovery community, I am now offering remote services to NGOs, communities, private individuals and companies who need support and advice as to how they can drive the recovery of nature - be that through traditional means, rewilding, low impact forestry or regenerative agriculture.
