During my master’s degree is at Bournemouth university, and I’m studying for a master’s degree in biodiversity conservation (CIEEM accredited). During this degree I have been taught many new techniques and ideas. I’m Currently learning to use software such as GIS and R. Within this course I have learnt practical techniques such as phase one surveys and have also improved my ID skills in identifying species. As part of this course we have undertook placements to gain experience with ecology in the working world. I have undertaken a dung beetle survey for the National trust on their Stonebarrow site as well as a few other sites. I also helped the game and wildlife trust in their monitoring salmon smolts and sea trout on the river Frome. Another placement that I undertook was with Bournemouth University Global Environmental Solutions which is a consultancy based at the university of Bournemouth. Whilst I was with them, I helped them undertake a drone survey image processing, data input and analyses and work with GIS. During my time at Bournemouth university I have given presentations on Eurasian Brown Bears DNA, wolverines and a nature table on the Mustelid family.
I have Studied a BSc in Science at UEA. Studying modules in biology field of this area of science such as Ecology, genetics and plant biology and received a 2:2
I have also finished a master’s degree in Biodiversity conservation at Bournemouth university. This degree is CIEEM accredited.

I’m currently looking for employment in the environmental sector. I’m also a graduate member of CIEEM and hold a clean UK driving license and access to my own vehicle.
I recently finished a master’s degree in Biodiversity conservation at Bournemouth University (CIEEM accredited). During this degree, I was taught many new techniques and ideas such as learning to use software such as GIS and R. As a part of this course I have learnt practical techniques such as phase one surveys and have also improved my identification skills of species. During my time at Bournemouth University I have given presentations on Eurasian Brown Bears DNA, wolverines and produced a nature table on the Mustelid family and how to identify them.
I have also done 3 work placements lasting 10 days each to gain experience working in the environmental sector. I have undertaken a dung beetle survey for the National trust on a number of different sites on the Dorset coast. I also helped with botany surveys on these sites. I have also worked with the game and wildlife trust in their monitoring salmon smolts and brown trout on the river Frome. The final ecological placement was with Bournemouth University Global Environmental Solutions (BUG) which is an ecological consultancy based at Bournemouth University. Whilst I was with BUG, I helped them undertake a drone survey, image processing, data input, and analyses and work with GIS.
