An enthusiastic and dedicated ecologist, conservationist and wildlife lover. Experienced in protected species surveying, preliminary ecological appraisal, habitat surveying and ECoW work.
I have a years experience of working in a fast paced high profile consultancy as a graduate ecologist where I have been involved in protected species surveying for road, rail, development and other works projects. I have experience in bat sound analysis using Analook and BatExplorer as well as experience in using a range of bat detecting equipment including Batloggers, static monitors, EchoMeters etc. I am working towards my great crested newt licence which I hope to achieve this year.
I have a wealth of experience in writing reports as well as costing for projects and setting up work orders using Unit4 software. Prior to my current role I have volunteered as a conservation assistant with various companies which included creating educational tools for visitors to sites in order to help them appreciate and learn about the wildlife and environment at the sites they are visiting, a role I am keen to undertake again.
I have completed a ROLO Health and Safety Course aimed at workers in the environmental sector and have an academically qualified CSCS card.
