I am a 3rd student at Aberystwyth University, reading in BSc Countryside Management. I am experienced with a range of practical skills. I am highly eager and ambitious to develop a career advocating sound ecological and environmental management
I am currently a 3rd Year student at Aberystwyth University and I am expected to graduate in May with a 2:1 degree in Countryside Management. I am currently volunteering for the Vincent Wildlife Trust, working on the Pine Marten restoration project in Ceredigion. This has provided me with many ecological skills working with radio tracking equipment, the collection of hair samples and camera trapping of Pine Martens in the Cambrian Mountains. Whilst completing my studies I have read modules including Ecological Surveying and Wildlife Management which have equipped me with theoretical and practical knowledge which would assist me in surveying work. Before going to university, I was a Student at Hadlow College where I studied Level 3 Extended Diploma in Countryside Management. Whilst completing these studies I was a Volunteer Ranger at both the Kent Wildlife Trust and The National Trust based at Scotney Castle. Whilst working with both of these organisations I helped complete Butterfly Transects, Pond Surveys, Dawn Chorus Surveys and Recorded Data on Tree Health and Safety.
I have experience of carrying out phase 1 habitat surveys and using GIS.
