I am a recent graduate, studied Zoology BSc and Behavioural Ecology MSc. I am looking to work in the area of environmental education, community conservation, public awareness, ecological surveys. I am a highly creative person.
I have been involved with environmental education and community engagement since I was 17, the last 9 years. As a volunteer and chairperson in various organisations, I have assumed several roles providing ideas for events and managing committees and groups. Some of these duties included writing promotional materials for events and running various activities, such as nature excursions, insect hotel building, guest lectures and several workshops. I also had administrative duties such as writing agendas, meeting reports, financial plans and reports. I also wrote Facebook events, emails and posters to advertise most of these activities.
During my internship in the Leiden Botanical garden I designed a physical key that children can use on the field to identify possible pollinators for flowers they see.
My long-term plans include taking part in ecological surveys and community conservation projects, contributing to schools improving their environmental teaching, and running nature excursions for people who are highly isolated from nature, writing children story books and designing board games about animals and plants children can see in British nature
