I am passionate Marine Conservationist who over the last few years has gained valuable international volunteer and internship experience, as well a experience of other cultures whilst travelling throughout the globe.
Whilst working internationally I have becomes experienced in the marine conservation sector, this work experience has reinforced my ambition to work within this field in the UK. I see a permanent UK based conservation role as the next step in the growth of my career. The multidisciplinary nature and range of typical conservation roles greatly excite me and I would embrace the opportunity for growth.
In past roles I was heavily involved in marine surveying, turtle based work and stakeholder engagement. My field experience involves, surveying and monitoring with a range of methodology, wildlife handling, public/stakeholder relations and more. This past work experiences show that I am happy working in a diverse multidisciplinary environment and have the flexibility to multitask between different roles.
My experiences both in NGO's and governmental bodies paired with the theoretical knowledge gained whilst completing my Master’s degree make me an ideal candidate for many roles within the conservation sector.
