I am a project support officer and administrator with 15 years experience across public and private sector organisations and would like to utilise my skills on projects with an environmental focus.
I have been working in Public and Private sector organisations throughout my career and would like to develop my career and apply my skills in a different sector. I am interested in utilising my skills in the charity and would like the opportunity to work for an organisation that is contributing to the community in a positive way.
I have 15 years’ experience in project coordination and administration and have worked in both Public and Private sector organisations and feel that the knowledge and skills I have gained would be transferrable to the Voluntary Sector. I have completed PRINCE2 Foundation and PMI training courses and have a strong understanding of project management processes and principles and how to apply these in practice.
A Project Office or PMO role involves working with a wide range of stakeholders so it is important to establish effective working relationships. I ensured that I communicated in a professional manner at all times and used a mixture of email and face to face meetings as appropriate. I worked as part of a large international bid which required me to engage with stakeholders across the organisation, including those in Senior Management roles.
