Outline
In my next role, I hope to design and implement educational programmes on conservation that will change lives andenact environmental change. I value integrity, empathy, and fun. (Recent enhanced DBS April 2020.)
I hold two masters degrees where my dissertation focused on improving zoo educational programmes, which helped me come up with new engagement strategies that I intend to bring to zoos and wildlife parks.
I also hold experience serving the number one zoo in the US (Saint Louis Zoo) as an Interpreter, and I used these skills to develop one for Shepreth Wildlife Park as well, where I gained experience in LSS in an aquarium setting and hold experience in husbandry and management as well as animal handling. I also brought America's first Land Trust Junior Board to fruition. Iam passionate about superior animal care, human safety, academic excellence, and integrity.
First responder experience (5 years +). Eligible to work in the UK till 2022. Eligible to work flexible work hours rota.

Experience
Educator role at two zoos (Shepreth Wildlife Park and Saint Louis Zoo, number one zoo in USA). Keeping experience at both zoos.
Founded America’s first youth engagement program with a Land Trust (Great Rivers Land Trust Junior Board) in 2010, selecting and leading group of 15 secondary school students as volunteers in educational conservation programs. Example: Spearheaded first Great Outdoor Youth Expo of 300+ attendees garnering support from donors (US Fish & Wildlife Service, Illinois Department of Natural Resources, US Army Corps of Engineers, local artists, etc.)
Speaker for National Land Trust Alliance (LTA) Annual Convention (2 years).
