Passionate, hardworking, enthusiastic.  Working for nature is what I was put here to do.  Give me the chance to help save wildlife, restore habitats and impart knowledge to prioritise nature in society. 

Since 2010 I have been heavily involved with environmental conservation, especially habitat monitoring and management.

 I evolved a strategy to develop myself through working part-time for a range of relevant voluntary bodies in order both to deepen my knowledge and to maintain and enhance my technical skills and, at the same time to take an Open University degree (starting 2009) and obtaining a BSc (Hons) Natural Science (Environmental Science) in 2016. Through this degree, I was able to develop skills in technical report writing and data collection and analysis.

 I wish to develop a career in the environmental sector, especially in the areas of laboratory work and data analysis.

I am an experienced Field Ecologist with a  BSc in Applied Ecology, and CIEEM membership, specialising in all aspects of Ecology, Environmental Science, Environmental Law, and Practical Conservation.

Ecological consultant based in Newcastle upon Tyne.  Bat and great crested newt surveys (level 1 licenced) botanical survey, habitat assessment and mapping and ornithology.  Prepared to travel from base to all parts of the UK.
