I am a recent graduate, studied Zoology BSc and Behavioural Ecology MSc. I am looking to work in the area of environmental education, community conservation, public awareness, ecological surveys. I am a highly creative person.

A project and departmental manager with over 20 years experience in 8 diverse business sectors. Prince2 and ITIL qualified, my strengths are planning projects, motivating teams, customer service and stakeholder management. I am an organised individual and very customer focused. I am approachable and dedicated to the work I do and thrive on learning new skills. I am currently engaged in a number of different voluntary activities as part of a career change towards a role in history, conservation and heritage.

I am looking for any part time horticultural/agricultural work in South Wales/West England. Availability; Saturday - Monday

Graduate from Nottingham Trent University in Environmental Conservation with a 2:1 (Hons), currently looking for experience in Countryside related the sector. Particularly interested in areas such as education, rights of way, and GIS.

I have recently gained a distinction in countryside and environmental management from Moulton college.

I have a wide range of skills from a PA background, office and childcare but have a main interest and area of enjoyment in working outdoors and with animals and nature.  I feel that I would love to combine my interests with a change of career path. It has also been a dream of mine to work with animals in some way and I have also had the opportunity of watching local wildlife as well as going to be volunteering at the RSPCA Canterbury and District Branch’s animal rehoming centre where I have helped the daily cleaning and feeding. I have helped with the socialization of the cats at the centre and I have also been trusted to help with the physiotherapy of an injured cat.


I have gained knowledge of animal husbandry and biology while I studied at Canterbury College where I studied a BTEC National Diploma in Animal Management which I enjoyed. After doing the Animal management course I furthered my knowledge my animal biology and conservation when I when onto do a HND in Applied animal science which I also enjoyed and where I helped out at Howletts. 


I have also gained some experience of wildlife when I did my work experience at school at the Wildwood Trust’s park. When I was at Wildwood I assisted the keepers with their daily routines which included cleaning of enclosures and feeding. I helped with the feeding of two Tawny Owlets which I enjoyed as well as some Tawny Owl husbandry. This was my first taste of working with animals which I believe helped to improve my knowledge and love of wildlife. I have also gained some hands-on experience when I was doing the HND by doing some work experience at a local farm which helped my understanding of farm animals and welfare.

Based in the Northwest of England, I am an Ecologist with MSc, specialising in Countryside Management and invasive species.  Looking to further my career in conservation and ecology, I am currently employed with DEFRA (APHA) working in biosecurity.

I am an avid conservationist that found my passion when working as a scuba diving instructor in Thailand around 7 years ago. I gained knowledge and experience within an industry that heavily relies on conservation protection and sustainability. It is now becoming increasingly important to people to help in whatever way they can, so I want to provide the information needed to increase support; whether that is through customer service, hands-on practices, teaching or office work. Whatever I can contribute to help our biggest necessity - planet earth.
