Michela has currently finished a post graduate master degree in Food, Space and Society at Cardiff University (Wales) where she gained a number of useful skills that could make her a valuable candidate for the county-side career sector. Able to analyze and going in depth to the current environmental, political and economic issues of our days thanks to the knowledge gained over the past year and her personal interest on ethical aspects; she is able to independently managing A research project; she has strong communication and writing skills; she works collaboratively with people from different disciplines and cultures; she is self-motivated and independent learner; she is able to critically examine texts and extract the meanings. The effort she put in her research project at university has given her the chance to examine issues such as food security, food poverty linked to the contested position of renewable energy in developing Countries. Particular attention has been given to the social, environmental and economic consequences of the big dams construction on the population living by the river. She is now looking for a job where she can implement the knowledge obtained.

Although I have obtained a degree in philosophical sciences in Italy, I have worked in the hospitality sector for the last 5 years in Uk. In the meantime I have improved my English skills, both spoken and written, and my passion and knowledge for the current political and environmental issues faced by our world. The skills gained during the bartending job are: attention to details; confidence in myself and in the job I am delivering; loyalty to my superiors and to my team work; initiative and motivation, and finally time management.
