Experience
Employed within Learning for nearly twenty years, my skills developed whilst creating and delivering Information Technology courses to industrial and commercial businesses. I achieved a Certificate of Education enabling me to work alongside my community Adult Education team, expanding their range of Information Technology courses.
Consequently I supported the creation and on-going success of my husbands company. In contrast my role as School Governor and Chair of Governors developed my skills of leadership and teamwork, including delivery of two successful Ofsted inspections.
Following my degree, I started teaching at Plumpton which offered the opportunity, to not only share my passions for ‘learning’ and ‘Countryside’ but also to progress my own teaching skills and better match these to the requirements of future learners.
