Having worked my way up through a range of professional roles to the position of Senior Design Engineer, I am now an innovative and resourceful individual with a proven track record of product development and problem solving. I now find myself in a position where I can peruse my life’s passion and shift my career path into forestry work, timber production and the management of the woodland landscape.

I have worked to familiarise myself with the sector the challenges I may be faced with by undertaking a range of volunteering and relevant training and I am prepared to fully immerse myself in this multi-functional industry. I am confident that with my adaptability, along with my unique combination transferable practical and academic skills I have the ability to learn the skills I need to succeed.

I have always been a hands-on person with the capability to apply myself to multiple tasks. With my tenacious approach to work and life, along with my understanding of health & safety and the importance of team work, I am confident I would make an ideal candidate and be able to apply myself and realise in full the benefits this position would offer me.
