I am a graduate of conservation biology from the University of Plymouth, with a passion for woodland management, the control of invasive species and the processes of succession and disturbance. I also thoroughly enjoy the educational side.
I am a friendly, approachable person who is passionate and motivated to work outside with British ecosystems, to keep them at a healthy biodiverse level. I have a background of volunteering, working in teams and working with communities that can be used in the conservation and education sector. I have gained many ecological, analytical and hands-on practises from my degree which includes a six-month conservation volunteered placement abroad. I would bring the potential to be adapted into a variety of positions where I would strive to achieve all expectations. I have vast experience managing teams and have been awarded for my leadership skills, but also love being part of a team, playing my role to make a difference and have an impact.

I volunteered for six months in Italy for the NGO 'Salviamo L'Orso', which translates to save the bear. I was involved in conservation research and projects such as; wildlife conflict mitigation, construction of electric fences, vegetation management, signs of presence identification, species identification, wildlife monitoring, camera trap management and educational projects and events. In my last two months, I stepped up to senior volunteer to lead a few activities.
Throughout my four year degree, I volunteered weekend for all kinds of conservation/habitat management projects across Dartmoor NP and sounding areas to Plymouth. Such as, rendering wetland habitats beneficial to endangered butterflies, through removing persistent willow saplings.
